Video, shows, etc

Busy times, as usual, for Grand Lake - last week we finished tracking our new album (release details TBA), and played shows with Maus Haus and Battlehooch in Santa Cruz, and the Donkeys in San Luis Obispo.

Videos from the Santa Cruz show are below, as well as a couple clips from a radio thing we did on KZSC.

This week we're playing at Thee Parkside as part of SF IndieFest's Winterfest 2010. Tickets are available here.

We're also completely happy to announce that we'll be opening for Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, and the Thermals, one night only in San Luis Obispo on February 10. Tickets are available at Boo Boo Records in SLO.

Album Update, Press

The New Year is off to a great start for Grand Lake - the first week of 2010 saw us playing our first show at Cafe Du Nord (read all about it at the SF Weekly), Jameson played solo shows in Seattle, Portland and Berkeley, and we were nominated as the 'best emerging band' on the SF Deli (vote for us here!).

We also spent the last couple of days tracking at Studio Paradiso in San Francisco (see above photo). We've been working on our debut full-length album for about 6 months now, and we should be finished tracking and mixing by the end of the month. Release details are still TBA, but we're shooting for a Spring release date.

We've got some shows coming up, and we'd love to see you at one:
1/24 - The Crepe Place, Santa Cruz w/ Maus Haus and Battlehooch
1/28 - The Crossroads, San Luis Obispo w/ The Donkeys
2/2 - SF Winterfest @ Thee Parkside w/ Two Sheds (tickets here)
